Our Story
Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
What began as one man’s vision in 2000 has grown into one of the region’s most unique grassroots motorsports traditions. Founded by Blair Miller, Baker Hill Motor Sports and the original Cornfield 500 were built on a passion for community, adrenaline-filled entertainment, and the hardworking spirit of small-town America.
Blair, known for his love of motorsports, the outdoors, and old-fashioned country fun, created the event with one goal in mind — bringing people together. What started as a local racing event quickly evolved into a weekend tradition where families and friends could gather to enjoy challenger car and side-by-side racing, mud trucks, live music, camping, fireworks, and unforgettable memories.
In 2003, Blair met Sabrena during deer hunting season, and the two quickly formed a partnership rooted in shared values, determination, and a love for rural life. Their larger-than-life personalities later gained national attention when they appeared on the CMT television show My Big Redneck Wedding, where audiences across the country got a glimpse into their unique relationship and way of life. Together, they turned their passion into something much bigger than motorsports — a community-driven experience centered around family, freedom, and entertainment.
Over the years, Baker Hill Motor Sports has continued pushing limits in the motorsport’s world, earning national recognition through Guinness Book World record-setting monster truck jumps and large-scale entertainment events that brought excitement and tourism to the region. In 2013, Blair and Sabrena were honored by the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry for their contributions to local tourism and economic growth, drawing thousands of visitors from across the country through their events and promotions.
Like many events nationwide, the Cornfield 500 faced challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly after, the Miller family experienced another devastating setback when a PSP pursuit and S.E.R.T. operation caused catastrophic damage to their home, forcing the event to pause for several years. Despite the hardships, Blair and Sabrena never lost sight of the vision that made the Cornfield special in the first place — creating a place where people could come together and celebrate community.
For Blair and Sabrena, this has never been just about an event — it’s about creating lasting memories, supporting their community, and bringing people together for a one-of-a-kind experience that generations of families can enjoy for years to come.
Today, that tradition lives on through the America Cornfield 250. Bigger and better than ever, the event continues to honor American values, patriotism, freedom, and family while delivering high-energy motorsports entertainment unlike anything else in the region. Presented by Baker Hill Motor Sports LLC, the America Cornfield 250 celebrates not only racing, but the people, traditions, and small-town spirit that make America great!
